Two people were injured in a Saturday morning traffic accident. The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported at about 4:15 a.m. on State Route 98 east of Holtville. A Honda Civic apparently went out of control, ran off the road, and overturned. The small car ended up about 100 feet off the road. Two people were transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center. Initial investigation indicates that Driving Under the Influence may have been a factor in the accident.
