Imperial County will be home to a 100-acre Cannabis Campus.

Shasta Management , a California development firm , has announced a long-term lease of 100 acres at Highway 111 and Heber Road. The company says that they are planning to develop a massive cannabis campus. The development will have two 2,000 square foot retail spaces , a 5,000 square foot consumption lounge and eventually a restaurant. There are also two indoor cultivation centers totaling 37,000 feet and six greenhouse cultivation centers. According to Shasta Management the project will mean jobs and tax revenue for the county.
