Two fast-charging stations for EV's in Imperial Valley will be launched tis week.

On Tuesday, January 21, at 10:00 a.m., a new fast-charging station at the El Centro Public Library will be launched. A second station at the offices of Comite Civico del Valle, 235 Man Street in Brawley will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Both stations have 4 electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The Comite Civic de Valle, through the Lithium Valley EV Charger Equity Initiative, has worked to build an EV charging station network in the Imperial Valley. The Comite has a goal of 40 fast charging stations available to the public across Imperial County. The Lithium Valley EV Charger Equity Initiative is funded through the California Energy Commission's Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project.
