If you drink, don't drive. The Imperial County Sheriff's Office will conduct a DUI/DUID Checkpoint Friday. The checkpoint will be in operation starting at 7:00 p.m.  on State Route 86 north of Harris Road. The checkpoint is designed to taken impaired drivers off the streets. The checkpoint is funded by the Cannabis Tax Fund Grant.
