The City of El Centro will host a community meeting to discuss Measure T.

The measure is on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot. If passed, it would add 1/2 cent to the sales tax in the city, from 8.25% to 8.75%. During the in-person meeting city staff will discuss the city's financial outlook and current challenges. If approved, the measure would generate an estimated $8.4 million annually to fund city services. The Community Meeting will be Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the City Council Chamers in El Centro City Hall.
