(Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day)...On Monday there will be a Freedom Walk at 11:30 am.

It will begin at the Martin Luther King Jr Sports Pavilion and end at the County Courthouse on Main Street in El Centro. At 12 noon there will be the Annual reenactment of I Have A Dream on the Courthouse steps. The celebration will continue on January 31st, with the Martin Luther King Stone of Hope Awards. Several deserving local residents will be presented an award. It will be held at the Prestige Event Center in Heber. Tickets are $60 each.
