(Flooding causes road closure)...At just after midnight, the California Highway Patrol closed Carter Road.

It was closed from Webster to Elder Roads. It was caused by runoff from a nearby field. Barricades were set up at both ends of the closure due to the flooding. As of 3:30 this morning the road remained closed as crews worked to clean up the flooding. Southern California Gas was also called in because of gas lines running underground in the area.
