(Non-Profits helping the homeless)...The Brown Bag Coalition, the Imperial Valley Equity and Valle Brilla are working together.

They are passing out water to the unsheltered in an attempt to keep them hydrated in the extreme heat. They are making water runs, beginning in Calexico and working their way into El Centro. In addition to water, they are handing out Gatorade, Bolis and wash clothes dipped in freezing water. The Brown Bag says they are looking for volunteers to go on the water runs.
