Imperial Valley Food Bank Executive Director Sara Griffin pointed out that the recent cuts to several federal programs such as SNAP will be severely felt in Imperial County by reducing the food dollars thousands of local families receive monthly. Griffin said that the food bank anticipates having more clients with less food to distribute. The Executive Director called on local community members to come together and support the local organizations like food banks, shelters and vital services to continue to bring health and hope to the Imperial Valley.
