Two weeks after Tropical Storm Rachel swept through the Imperial Valley, a number of county roads remain closed.

The Imperial County Public Works Department issued an update Monday afternoon. Slayton Road between Thiesen and Norish Roads is closed. Wilkins Road between Beal and English and English north of Niland is closed. Palo Verde Road  from State Route 78 to Stalled Road and Stalled to State Route 78 to Palo Verde Road are all closed due to flooding. English Road from Sinclair to Simpson Road is closed due to downed utility poles.
