The El Centro City Council meets Tuesday.

A Closed Session will begin at 3:30 p.m. as council meets with real property negotiators and Caltrans concerning State Route 86 between the north El Centro City limits  and Lincoln Avenue. A price and terms of payment re under negotiation. 

Open Session will begin at 6:00 p.m. The council is expected to issue proclamations declaring October Domestic Violence Awareness Month, National Community Planning Month, and Customer Service Appreciation Week.

Council will discuss and possibly take action regarding the approval of the Willow Bend Subdivision Final Map. Design concepts for the Veterans Memorial Wall Phase II will be discussed, including artwork, dedication, and inscription for the project. Appointments to several city boards and commissions will be considered.
