Remains believed to be those of T'Neya Tovar were recovered near Salton City Tuesday.

Authorities were led to the remains of the 17-year-old victim by Abraham H. Feinbloom, 52, as part of a plea agreement where Feinbloom pled guilty to the murder of the Riverside County teen. The agreement will see Feinbloom sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 13 years. A specific condition of the agreement was that Feinbloom assist law enforcement in locating the remains of the victim. A search Tuesday included personnel from the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, the FBI, Imperial and Riverside County District Attorney's Offices. The remains were located near Treadwell Boulevard in the Salton City area. DNA testing will be conducted to confirm that the remains are T'Neya.
