(Update on the New River)...It will be held Tuesday. Federal Environmental agencies and local leaders will gather in Calexico to update the public on ongoing efforts to address long-standing pollution in the New River. 

The US Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission and the US Environmental Protection Agency will co-host a hybrid public round-table at 11 am Tuesday. The meeting will offer residents, community advocates, and local stakeholders a direct line to agency leadership as federal authorities work to tackle cross-border contamination, monitor water quality, and strengthen intra agency collaboration.
