(CBP Upgrading Technology Systems at the East Port)....Customs and Border Protection officials are installing upgraded biometric technology at the Calexico East Port of Entry.

It is in the Port's vehicle pre-primary inspection area. Crews began the system upgrade today. To minimize disruptions to daily operations, workers will complete most of the construction overnight. During the installation, CBP encourages travelers to plan ahead as the construction may affect traffic flow.
