(Imperial County Advisory Committee for Data Centers)....The 19 member committee is coming together.

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors recently appointed the bulk of the committee members. The Cities are now appointing their representatives to it on the committee. The City of Imperial has appointed Dennis Morita, the City Attorney. The City of El Centro this week appointed their Community Development Director Angel Hernandez. The Brawley City Council this week named John Grass as their representative on the County Data Center Advisory Committee The committee will provide input and recommendations to the County Supervisors regarding land use and zoning options related to potential development within the unincorporated areas, and policy options for Imperial County All final decisions will remain with the Board of Supervisors.
