The California Transportation Commission has approved funding for several Imperial County projects.

$204,000 will go to an extensive overlay on existing pavement on Cole Boulevard between Scaroni Road and the railroad crossing in Calexico. $408,000 for rehabilitation of Main Street between Park Avenue and Sorenson in Calipatria. $40,000 for construction of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter on Pine Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets in Holtville. $909,000 to remove and replace sidewalks in Calipatria on Bonita Place between S. Brown Avenue and Southeast Avenue. The funds for the local projects are coming from the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and from California's Senate Bill 1 , the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.
