The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors will meet Friday.

The Board meeting will start at 8:30 a.m. and be held in the Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro. The Board is expected to recognize the American Public Power Association Safety Award of Excellence. The award is in recognition of the district's safe operating practices in 2025. The award recognizes the public power utilities organizations that prioritize safety in their day-to-day operations. After a recess the board will convene a Work Session and then go into Closed Session to meet with legal counsel and real property negotiators.
