(Brawley couple will go to trial in November)...Leia Lentz and Isaac Elizondo, both 24 years of age, are charged in the murder of a 5 year old child.

The victim was the son of Lentz. The Brawley couple had been charged separately, and were to be tried separately. It was then decided, since they were charged in the same crime, they should be tried together. Then the court changed it's mind and the two were set to be tried separately. Finally it was decided they would be tried together. Each defendant will still have their own legal representation. It was decided they would need a long time to prepare for what is expected to be a long trial. The trial date was set for November 5th.
