(Brawley City Council accepted a grant this week)... It was a Public Green Space Grant from the Imperial Irrigation District.

The $35, 000 grant was authorized by the City Manager to execute the funding agreement. The grant will support planting over 40 trees at Pat Williams Park at Alyce Gereaux Park, along with the installation of necessary irrigation infrastructure. The project is intended to enhance air quality, reduce urban heat, and expand recreational opportunities for residents while supporting environmental stewardship.
