The national Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the mountains of eastern San Diego County.

Forecasters are predicting winds at 35 to 45 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles per hour. The advisory was issued as Santa Ana winds pass through the area. The wind advisory is in effect until 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
