(ACLUF-SDIC launches a new hotline)...It is in response to a surge of civil rights violations occurring nationwide.

The ACLU Foundation of San Diego and Imperial Counties is tracking and investigating unlawful conduct by federal immigration agents both against people lawfully exercising First Amendment rights and against people otherwise detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Border Patrol and other federal law enforcement agencies. To aid in those efforts, they have launched two new regional hotlines for the public to report harassment, use of force, racial profiling, warrantless stops and detention from ICE or federal agents.
