Two individuals were charged with various drug offenses.

Thursday night, El Centro Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. Officers requested assistance from an Imperial County Sheriff's Office K-9 Team. The dog alerted to the presence of narcotics in the pick up truck and a search of the vehicle located 40 grams of methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia. The driver and the passenger were arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail on narcotics related charges.
