The winners of the recent Academic Decathlon have been announced.

The event, presented by the Imperial County office of Education, is a student competition that features 10 events, including Essay, Speech, Interview, Social Science, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Music, Literature, and Art. A total of 34 students from 4 schools competed in the academic event around one theme, " The Roaring Twenties". First place went to Southwest High School, second place was Brawley Union High School, Imperial High School was third. The Super Quiz Champion was Southwest High School.
