Valentines Day is Saturday and if you plan on bringing flowers from Mexico, be aware of some rules.
Chrysanthemums from Mexico are prohibited through passenger ports of entry. Don't bring arrangements with these flowers into the U.S. Additionally, some cut greenery, plants used to fill arrangements, may have pests or diseases. One of these is orange jasmine, a host to Asian citrus psyllid. Roses, carnations, and many other flowers are allowed into the U.S. after they pass inspection. Plants potted in soil or dirt are prohibited. Travelers must declare all flower and plants at the border.
