A small earthquake rattled the Indio area early Sunday.

The magnitude 3.3 earthquake occurred at 1:20 a.m. Sunday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter was about 11 mies from Indio in the Coachella Valley. There was no report of damage.
