(Suspect allegedly sexually assaulted a minor)....The suspect, identified only as Saul, was the owner of a Taco Shop in Mexicali.

One of his employees, a young female, called he mother crying. She said she had been raped by her boss. The mother took police officers to the business, where they confronted the suspect. Police questioned him, but left without making an arrest. The suspect took advantage of that mistake and fled to the United States. After it was reported he was in Imperial County, the suspect fled to Texas. He was reportedly a US Congressional candidate at one time. Tuesday Mexican officials say with the help of US authorities, the suspect was located and taken into custody. He was extradicted back to Mexico through Tijuana. At last report he had been transferred to Mexicali, where he will face a trial for sexual assault of a minor.
