The 2026 Holtville Carrot festival Royalty candidates have been announced.

The Holtville Chamber of Commerce has named the five candidates for Jr. Princess, Violet Menibles, 5, Leah Hernandez, 9, Everleigh Acuna, 7, Jazmin Gatlin, 8 and Talia Zamora, 9. The candidates for Princess are Emely Leyva, 12, Sophia Wilkinson, 11, and 10-year-old Olivia Villasenor. The Queen candidates are Emily Soto, 17, Clara Cerda, 15, and Layla Morales, 17. Coronation for the winners will be at the Coronation and Citizen of the Year Banquet on January 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Casa Blanca Venue in Holtville. The Citizen of the Year will also be announced at the banquet.
