(Imperial County has a new Deputy Chief Executive Officer).....Carlos Lopez has been appointed to the position.

The County announced Wednesday morning that Lopez had been appointed Deputy Chief CEO for Economic Development. In his new role, Lopez will lead and advance countywide economic development initiatives focused on business attraction, workforce development, job creation and long term economic growth. Lopez has 20 years experience in workforce and economic development, with a proven track record of building strong partnerships with local businesses, regional agencies, and state and federal partners Lopez transitions to his new position after serving as Business Services Supervisor with the Imperial County Workforce and Economic Development Department, a position he has held since 2017.
