(Yuma hires a permanent Fire Chief)....It is not David Lantzer.

The City had announced the Imperial County Fire Chief had been hired as the new Yuma Chief. That has now been corrected Chief Lantzer was in the top four for the position, but the City decided to promote the current interim Chief to fill the position on a permanent basis. John Louser waas appointed the new, fulltime Fire Chief. Louser is a 22 year veteran of the Yuma Fire Department. He has served as interim chief since September.
