The vacancy was created when Elizabeth Espinoza announced her resignation from her position in November pf last year. Her term expires in December 2026. The appointee will fill the vacancy until the November 2026 election. To be eligible to serve on the Board an applicant must be at least 18 years of age, a citizen of the state, a resident of the school district, a registered voter and not disqualified by the constitution or laws of the state from holding civil office.. Applications are available at the CUHSD website or at the District office on Ross Avenue.
