A convicted felon who escaped custody was apprehended by U. S. Border Patrol agents.

Joseph Lee Randall escaped from custody near Julian, California on Monday. The Border Patrol's Campo Station was notified and agents responded to assist in the search for the man. Using specialized tracking methods, agents located the escapee near Camp Cuyamaca in Descanso.  Randall is currently serving time for a long list of crimes including vehicle theft and grand theft and now faces additional charges.
