(Independence Day Celebrations)....There will be events thru-out the Valley.

On the 4th of July the City of El Centro Annual All-American Splash Bash will be held at the Aquatic Center. The event will run from 12-3 pm. Calipatria  and the Calipatria Foundation will host their biggest celebration ever. The Calipatria Fireworks Spectacular starts at 4 pm. The fireworks start at 9 at the airport. On Saturday July 5th, the Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a major event. It will be held at the Fairgrounds in Imperial. Gates open at 6 pm, with events at 7 pm. There will be a cornhole tournament, food vendors, and a beer garden. The main event is a major Drone show, featuring 150 drones, 400 feet in the sky over the Grandstands. They will perform an amazing show with music. The cost is $10 per vehicle to park. Entrance if free.
