(Thinking about the next school year)....One of those preparing for the next school year is the Calipatria Latin American Club.

They have ordered Backpacks. They will be filled with donated school supplies. The Club is asking for binders, pens, pencils, markers, glue, erasers and more backpacks and any other item for school use. They will providing the filled backpacks to students in the Calipatria Elementary School District. The District covers Calipatria, Bombay Beach, Niland and the Slabs. Donations can be dropped off at the provided bins. The Bins will be set up at the Bank, the hardware store and the food store in Calipatria.
