In the morning, they will conduct special presentations. The Board will recognize Imperial High School's Tigerbotics team for becoming the first team from Imperial valley to win a regional robotics competition. The Board is expected to declare June as Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Awareness Month. June 19th will be declared Juneteenth, and June will also be declared Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. The afternoon session begins at 1 pm. The Board will receive a presentation on the Imperial County Psychiatry program. They will discuss sending a letter opposing Senate Bill 707 unless it is amended. The Board will discuss a letter supporting Senate Bill 346, that deals will local agencies; transient occupancy tax; short term rental facilitator and authorize the chairman to sign and send the letter. And they will consider funding the transition to the Voter's Choice Act Election Model
