(Arrests made on Federal Indictments)...The 22 indictments were for alleged members of a sophisticated transnational drug trafficking organization.

The organization allegedly has ties to a Sinaloa Cartel. Friday morning. Sweeps were conducted in Californiza, Arizona, Iowa and Colorado. Six search warrants were executed in Imperial County. 10 defendants were arrested and 12 more were being sought. Seizures in the four states included over 2,200 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine, over 1,600 pounds fentanyl, 10 firearms and over $250,000 in cash. A list of defendants was released and includes suspects in San Diego, Mexicali, Calexico, Imperial and El Centro and 10 un named fugitives.
