(ICOE Annual Spelling Bee)....The 20th Annual Imperial County Spelling Bee will be held Thursday.

It will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the ICOE's Administrative Conference Center, Building E. That is located at 4202 Sperber Road In El Centro. The Imperial County Spelling Bee is an affiliate of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, Schools throughout the county host spelling bees, with the top two performers from each school participating in the Imperial County Spelling Bee. This year there will be 59 students from 29 schools participating.. The winner of the Imperial County Competition will move on to the National event in Washington D.C.
