The El Centro Public Library has issued a Scam Alert.

Apparently an individual or group is claiming to represent a company called Universal Ad and are contacting individuals asking for donations for grocery bags featuring the Library's name. The El Centro Library says that this request is not legitimate. The Library does not partner with Universal Ad or any similar company. Residents who receive a call requesting money to not provide any personal or financial information and report the call to El Centro Police.
