(Commemorative Veterans Badges).... The badges honor the officers who have served in the United States military.

Beginning today, Veterans Day, Officers who are military veterans will wear the commemorative badge to recognize their military service and their continued dedication to public safety in our community. The badge will not just be worn on Veterans Day but also on the officer's respective military branch's birthday and other approved Federal Holidays.
