(One injured in a collision Monday morning)....The collision was reported at 6:41 Monday morning on Highway 111, near Yocum Road.

It was south of Calipatria. A Big Rig collided with a compact car. The driver of the car had to be removed from the vehicle. The driver suffered a back injury and was transported to Pioneers Memorial Hospital. The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
