Firefighters from several Imperial County Fire Departments have been deployed to the Wolf Fire.

The Wolf Fire is burning near Banning in Riverside County. As of late Thursday afternoon the fire had covered an area of over 2,400 acres in the rugged, brush covered foothills. The Calexico Fire Department sent a Type 3 Brush rig with crew. The Holtville Fire Department and El Centro Fire Department also deployed manpower and equipment. There are 67 engines , 14 water tenders, and 15 dozers assigned to the fire as well as 969 personnel. The wildfire started on June 29 along the Old Banning Idylwild Road and Wolfskill Truck Trail.
