An update on the North Lake Pilot Project is scheduled for October 29,2024.

The Community Update will be held at the North Shore Fire Station on Sea View Drive in North Shore starting at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to the meeting that will talk about the Salton Sea North Lake Pilot Demonstration Project. The meeting will be presented by Riverside County Supervisor Manuel Perez, the California Natural Resources Agency and the Salton Sea Authority. The North Shore Lake Pilot Demonstration Project would see the creation of approximately 156 acres of shallow and deep-water habitat for fish and birds at the north end of the Salton Sea. The $19.25 million demonstration project is funded by Proposition 68.   The meeting will also be available on ZOOM.
