The Imperial Irrigation District adopted the 2024-2025 Strategic Plan Tuesday.

It's the districts first Strategic Plan in eight years. The plan outlines seven strategic goals and 18 initiatives that will provide guidance and identify opportunities to achieve IID's mission, vision and strategic direction policies. 

The planning process started last year and included involvement from the Board and management team, staff surveys and public input. The plan is expected to build on the Boards newly adopted Board Policy and aligns with the biennial strategic and budget process. Among the plan's seven strategic goals are:

Water Conservation and Leadership

Coachella Valley Collaboration

Community Benefits ad Services

Adopting Advanced Technologies

Effective and Engaging Strategic Planning

The plan will be updated very two years.
