(County Supervisors meet Tuesday)...It will be their regular weekly meeting.

Open session will begin with the recognition of the Imperial Valley College Women's Basketball Team for a remarkable season and for obtaining 2nd place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. Air Pollution Control Officer Belen Lopez will introduce Air Justice, the Imperial County Air Pollution Control Mascot. The new Captain for the California Highway Patrol El Centro Sector willo also be introduced to the County Board of Supervisors. The Board will discuss the Agreement for Construction Services with Bender Rosenthal, Inc. for Right of Way Appraisal and Acqusition services for Verde School Road Bridge over the East Highline Canal in Imperial County.. And the Board will discuss calling for a special election imposing Supervisorial Term Limits to be added to Title 2 of the Codified Ordinances of Imperial County.. The issue is being requested by District 1 Supervisor Jesus Eduardo Escobar, and Chairman of the Board Luis Plancarte, Supervisor for District 2. A Public Hearing will also be held Tuesday to discuss the requirements of the Tax and Equity Fiscal Responsibility Act and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
