Imperial County has broken ground on a new Seeley Fire Station and Cooling Center.

The new nearly 4,400 square foot building is funded through the California Department of Housing and Community Development's Block Grant program with a cost not to exceed $5,2 million. The Imperial County Fire Department will occupy slightly over 3,700 square feet with the remaining 975 square feet allotted for a Cooling Center.
