(Voting in the recall election)....Vote By Mail Ballots were sent out this week.

That, however, is not the only way to cast an early ballot. The actual Recall Election Day is September. Voters can also cast early ballots in person at the Elections Department at 940 West Main Street in El Centro Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through September 10th. From September 11th through September 13th, registered voters can vote in person at the Elections Department from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. On Election Day, September 14th, Polls will be open from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm. Those vot5ing by mail can mail in their ballots, or they can drop them in a drop box set up at the Brawley City Hall, Calexico City Hall, Imperial City Hall or at the County Administration Center west parking lot. The drop boxes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
