(Summer at the Library)…It was approved this week.

The County Board of Supervisors Approved the implementation of Lunch at the Library program in Heber and a summer library program in Westmorland. The programs are possible after the County Librarian used funds from a $4,000 grant from the California State Library and a $500 donation from the Heber Public Utility District. Westmorland residents will also be able to swim this summer. The newly renovated City Pool was officially opened recently. The County and the Imperial Irrigation District provided substantial fund to help pay for the renovation. The damaged pool had been unusable for years.
