(Tropical Storm wreaks havoc in Mexicali)...Tropical Storm Rachel moved into Mexicali Saturday afternoon

. Strong winds and lots rain hit the Fiestas del Sol Saturday afternoon. Within minutes, the Fiestas were called off, and the grounds evacuated. The storm continued to plummet the Capital City of Baja California. Streets were flooded and traffic accidents reported across the city. The New River flooded, and took out the New River Bridge.  several vehicles were caught in the flood before officials could close off the area and redirect traffic. Damage was extensive, but their have been no reports of injuries or worse Lanes were also flooded at the Ports of Entry.
