(Mexico is getting ready to celebrate their Independence)....Most of the celebrations for Mexico's Independence have already been held.

The last in Imperial County was on Sunday. Mexico will celebrate their Independence Tuesday and Wednesday. Mexico Celebrates the beginning of their war of Independence. On September 16th, Father Miguel Hidalgo Y Costilla delivered the Call to Arms in 1810. The Call to Arms is called the Grito De Dolores. Dolores was the City  Hidalgo was in when he delivered the call to arms. The War of Independence ended on September  27, 1821. The celebration goes on September 15th and 16th, With the Grito  is delivered at mid-night Sep00000000000000000000000000000ember 15th, going into the 16th. Independence became official with the signing of the Plan De Iguala in 1821. Cities across Mexico , including Mexicali, celebrate with a carnaval, food, fireworks, music and parades. The President of Mexico delivers the official grito, with the governors delivering individual gritos across the country...
