(Holtville follows Brawley's lead)... Like Brawley, Holtville had two City Council seats to fill.

Like Brawley only two candidates filed nomination papers. And, like Brawley, the Holtville City Council recently held a special meeting to appoint the two candidates to sit on the City Council. Incumbent Michael Goodsell and Stacy Brritschki were appointed, and the City Clerk administered the oath of office to both. Their terms begin December 9. Like Brawley, Holtville saves $50,000 by not having a ballot on the November 3rd General Election
