The Brawley Elks Lodge, BPOE 1420, honored one of their own with a Jeweling Ceremony.

Lisa Chapin Winkler was recognized as the South District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, the first woman to hold that post. Winkler has been a member of the Brawley Lodge for more than 9 years and served as Exalted Ruler of the lodge. As District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler she will oversee much of th business side of lodges in the district. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks pillars are Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity. Brawley Lodge 1420 is the only Lodge in the Imperial Valley.
